Moon has managed to raise almost its entire goal in less than 5 hours.

Do check out the project and back it if you possibly can. It will be hugely informative on our Glorantha plans, and we fully want to support our friends at Moon.

That's great Barry. They've exceeded the goal in less than 12 hours. Its phenomenal work, and gives us hope for an RQ Hardcover kickstarter.

They have done so well, I would buy any rq6 kick starter also.

Great to get a guide , glorantha is actually quite complicated. And the hardcover detailed maps will be awesome.

I just hope you don't over price it.
Include the PDF when you buy the book.

I look forward to getting the Guide so when reading Harrek's Saga I can follow his pillaging on the maps.

At Darren, maybe you should rethink the tone of your post, pretty rude.

If you don't like the price, just don't buy it...

I'm going to have to consider this one carefully....fortunately, I still have a few weeks on the matter.

Thankfully, this is a present from my mother to me, combined Christmas and Birthday, so financing it is not my problem. Got the sneak peek draft complete text now, and the books will come in February, in time for my Birthday at the end of February hopefully.

And, considering I work shifts, and can't be with family at Christmas, having this all happen when I'm with them on holiday makes it a mini-Christmas!

Sounds Awesome.

I have never played in Glorantha, and I have never gotten through the books I have on it. But I hope I can at sometime be caught by it, as it seems such a deep world.

It will be priced fairly, Darran. A free PDF will be available - as will be the case with all hard copies of books bought directly from us. We will even offer an alternative to the PDF for those who already have it.

I see this has been picked up by Cory Doctorow on Boing Boing and just been tweeted by a guy called Tim Harford - well-known economist/radio/tv presenter. That's pretty impressive.

Before long, Glorantha will become a world-wide cultural phenomenon...

I got the Runemaster level as soon as I saw it, and Rick Meints is gonna put up the big maps separately, I'll be getting them too, they won't be available otherwise nor afterwards. I notice they just hit the 75K so that's going in the right direction!

And it's on another significant blog as well: mine! :)

I think we can safely say the entire Belgian RQ community is backing this one, hehe.

Hey guys

I'm really excited about the Guide to Glorantha kickstarter. I'm wondering how you guys are coming along with the rumored RQ mechanical guide to glorantha. I'd think with all the excitement over this kickstarter this would be the perfect time to announce it officially and get it going... Perhaps as a kickstarter itself...

Baring the imminent release of an RQ 6 Gloranthan guide, how hard would it be to use the old Gods of Glorantha and Genertela boxed sets to stat up and run an RQ6 game in glorantha? I love glorantha and I think this new version of rq is great, I just want them to play together!

We are playing in glorantha, and between the old RQ material and the recent Sartar books and Pavis books I have had the embarassment of choice for playing in Glorantha. Converting NPC isn't hard, I've become so accustomed to it I am doing it on the fly, just using the old stat blocks and calculating SR and CA, occasionally modifying weapon damage or AP, and just being creative with the magic.
When using the Moon Design stuff I use my NPC generator to prepare NPC's in advance, that covers 80% of the work, what's left is creating the protagonists. Still, getting the RQ Glorantha book would be a nice thing, although it would probably not sell as much as the GtG, considering there's a bunch of HQ folks in that crowd as well. But if it showsup on kickstarter, I'll gladly pledge :)
