RQ6 Errata Document Posted

posted Mar 01, 2013 16:25:22 by lawrence.whitaker
I've just posted the Errata PDF in the Downloads section. Note: this isn't the correction to the full rules; its a short document giving page references and changes/clarifications made.

Thank you all for your help in assembling this.

Thanks for this.

Minor find on page 18 (and 35 of the GM's pack) Basic Character Creation Elements: number eight has "(Not shown on sheet)" below the chart; Luck Points ARE on the character sheet.

Remarkable how brief a list it is. Well done on a great game system.

I think it was meant to say that it's not shown on the "character sheet" on page 18 (as the sheet on that page has the upper part cut out), so not really a mistake per se, it just depends on how you look at it.

But this kind of finds really showcases how well done RQ6 was from the get go. We have a 5 page errata with, at least in my opinion, VERY minor corrections and explanations. Nothing that is in any case a big issue at the table.

Great work Loz and Pete!

Cheers,
Marko

I see your point.

The Animism clarifications are priceless!

Thanks for this

Awesome to see this. Lots of good details and clarifications.

My one nitpick: you gave movement rates for only 4 of the 5 elemental types - Shades (shadow elementals) are missing.

Is there any kind of projected date for these updates to be put into the pdf version of the rules on drivethrurpg/rpgnow? Thanks!

Ah - sorry. Shades = Sylphs.

Thank you. Nice, short and enlightning.
I see the Berserk-miracle got a major face-lift. That's downright nasty, that is:-)

I hope you manage to update the PDF and future printed editions.

Loz, I've just sent you my own errata comments. Only two areas I've added. 1) some typos that deserve attention in a hardback. And 2) some comments on Curse spirits (should be like sickness spirits) which Pete clarified, and the Iqari skill bases, and a query of whether Trance or Bind is used to put Elementals back into their fetish.

On the use of Move, it may be useful to think of this as "Movement & Manoeuvring" to reflect its the AP cost for making 'athletic' dashes and leaping about the lcombat.

Cheers

Excuse me for the offtopic, but could anybody explain me why should be Anathaym’s Love (Kara) Passion 61%?

Dunno, the default for Love is 30% + loved one's POW + CHA.
We know Kara's CHA is 15 (p. 36), so I guess that means her POW is 16.
I know this doesn't match Kara's stats in the GM pack but... 61% seems closer to realistic than 51% as in the book.

Because she loves her sister very, very much.
