Theism: on magnitude, intensity and evoke-times

posted Mar 24, 2013 18:40:30 by Sunwolfe
Hail all,

I have a couple of questions concerning Theism I hope you can help me with.

1. Does a theist offer an additional Magic Point for each miracle manipulation?
I.E. A theist wishes to manipulate a priest-class miracle by requesting greater intensity or magnitude beyond the default.
A. Will this cost him only the default 3-points?
B. Will this cost him an additional point for intensity manipulation and an additional point for magnitude manipulation?
C. Will this cost him an additional 3-points for intensity manipulation and an additional 3-points for magnitude manipulation?
D. Other…please explain

2. Does the miracle take an additional Turn to evoke for each level of intensity or magnitude requested? I.E. A theist wishes to evoke priest-class miracle X (3-turns) and he wishes to add two intensities and two magnitudes.

A. Will this cost him no additional turns to evoke?
B. Will this cost him 2 additional turns beyond the three?
C. Will this cols him 4 additional turns beyond the three?
D. Other…please explain

Cheers!

1. No, "A" is the right answer.
He don't need to spend extra MP. Just at the casting he chooses spell's magnitude and intensity he wants, to the maximum possible according to his skill.

2. "A" answer too.
Only multiple copies of the same miracle increase a miracle's casting time.
