On the extended family table, do you roll for each column?

If I roll a 3 under aunts & uncles, does that mean I have 3 aunties and three uncles, or does it mean I have for example 1 uncle and 2 aunties? I guess it doesn't really matter, but it would be nice to have an official answer.

I can understand a family having a poor reputation and 1 to 3 enemies, but I don't understand how a family can have 'good' connections in the community and have enemies or rivals.

As I read it, you roll once. Long-lived Grandparents often result in many Aunts & Uncles, which lead to many Cousins.

You have 3 in total - otherwise you would always have exactly the same amount of aunts and uncles... which would be a bit weird.

The family of the Julii holds great power in Rome and has the love of the people. Indeed their recent conquests in Gaul have made them monstrously rich - and much of that wealth has been bestowed upon the people, both directly as gifts and indirectly as work on the many new buildings projects. They are well liked in the community and have great many connections, both political, commercial and spiritual.

However, the Scipii and the Brutii look upon them in envy.
